update on jena

so i'll just give you a mediocre update:

* i moved to the place i'm gonna live at for at least a year. (after that it might get too expensive.)
it's a super-cool place, though: a flat for 5 people, 140 square meters in total, a huge hall (doorway?) with a dark red floor and bright yellow walls, a huge kitchen, a colorful big bath, and exactly 5 min. from campus.
we (that is sarah and me) chose 3 sympathetic flat mates and we will all be moving in during the next month. the only unfortunate thing is: we won't be getting the kitchen until mid-january. so: no milk today... but it's fine for me. you know, i'm not cooking anyways.
my room has 20 square meters and a parquet floor. the windows are to the south, so i'll probably be getting some sun (there was no sun yet). i plan to gather my 20-something boxes, which are still shelved in different people's garrets and storing places, between christmas and new year and then, next year finally, i'll be a real person again. ;-))
* i lost my homesickness (at least for the moment). when i walk through göttingen (which i did yesterday), everything seems so familiar and sometimes pretty, but i don't feel nostalgic anymore. also, i felt really happy that i don't need to go to school (i.e.: university) here any more.
it was good to go.
(let's see what i say, when finals are coming up...)
